The “P” source gives a lot of details that could worry priests only; it also points out the importance of covenants. The “P” author doesn’t like anyone who is not a priest to offer sacrifices to God; therefore, you will not be able to find any examples of sacrifices in “P” story. The “P” source “likes” only Aaron’s descendants. The “E” source “likes” Jacob, Joshua and Joseph. It becomes obvious that the Pentateuch, the books of Moses, were actually written by someone else. Not even just by one author, but by at least three of them-the “J”, “E” and “P” authors. Among the proofs, there are also such things as: “P” sources –the flood lasted for 150 days, in “J” source- for 40 days. “P” source describes rainbow covenant, “J” source- mentions scarifies as well.
