Some people misinterpret the phrase "as a thief in the night" to mean a secret rapture, but they fail to see the other part of the verse, "with a great noise." Which thief comes to steal with great noise? The phrase "like a thief" means unpredicted or unpredictable. We cannot predict the timing of this coming - this bang - just as we don't know when God started his business of creating the universe, but we know He did, because here you are reading this!

Don't miss the next bang!
None of us knew much about anything as the "Big Bang." It's just a theory. Someone will soon come up with something else and sell some books and get rich. However, we all have the next big "bang" ahead of us, and we need to be ready for it.

It doesn't matter if we die or we live before it happens, the Bible says, "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment..." (Hebrews 9:27, KJV). See also, 2 Corinthians 5:10.

There will be another Big Bang someday, and science won't be able to predict nor explain this one. It could be destructive or constructive in nature, but at least we have the power at this time, now to choose what it will be for us. By God's grace, I'm gonna have a blast, and it will be out of this world! How about you?
